Our History
For over 25 years, GLAD has served the Lansing, MI community offering whole family Christan-based care from newborn to preteen children. Founded by Katrina Vinson in 1994, a leader in education and a longstanding CDA. Katrina Vinson has a proven success record in all stages and areas of child development.
Our Philosophy
Our vision is to ensure all children are treated holistically and introduced to the elements and skills in becoming a thriving citizen. We also focus our teachings on Christian principles to ensure our children learn about God and His love for us all. It is a blessing to share educational tools to be successful now and in the future through understanding their gifts and talents. Our belief is that every child is brilliant. It is always an honor to be given the opportunity to begin their foundation for success. One of our favorite sayings is to “Let ALL that we do, be done in love.”
Our Curriculum
Our curriculum focuses on modern preschool development in the growth of the mind, body and spirit through critical thinking, engaging lessons, S.T.R.E.A.M. (science, technology, reading, engineering, art, math) and developing the next generation of leaders. We are a Christian based center dedicated to “whole child” development and education.
